Home Fixers Ltd. Trades and Professionals Directory Membership Terms and Conditions

By completing your online payment, you (“Member”) agree to the terms and conditions outlined below for the Home Fixers Club Handyman Membership with Home Fixers Ltd. (“Company”).

Membership Term: Free, Monthly, or Annual

1. Membership Plan and Benefits

  • Basic Plan (Free):

    • Listing in the Home Fixers directory.

    • Display of contact information (phone and email).

  • Standard Plan ($25/month or $250/year):

    • Includes all Basic Plan features.

    • Display of 1 video and up to 10 pictures.

    • Enhanced visibility in the directory.

  • Premium Plan ($50/month or $500/year):

    • Includes all Standard Plan features.

    • Display of up to 3 videos, 20 pictures, website URL, and social media links.

    • Verified Badge for added credibility.

2. Payment Terms

  • Billing: Monthly or annual billing, processed on the Effective Date.

  • Renewal: Automatic renewal monthly or annually, with a renewal reminder 30 days prior.

  • Cancellation: Members may cancel anytime via the account dashboard. Cancellations are effective at the end of the billing cycle.

3. Content Guidelines

  • Content Standards: All uploaded content must follow Home Fixers' content guidelines and be accurate and appropriate.

  • Content Rights: Members confirm ownership and grant Home Fixers a non-exclusive license to use the content on the platform.

4. Member Responsibilities

  • Accuracy: Members are responsible for the accuracy of their directory listing information.

  • Compliance: Members agree to follow all relevant laws and have the right to use and distribute uploaded content.

5. Termination Policy

  • Voluntary Termination: Members can terminate via the dashboard; cancellations are effective at the end of the billing cycle without refunds.

  • Involuntary Termination: Home Fixers reserves the right to terminate memberships for guideline violations. No refunds for terminated memberships.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Service Quality: No guarantees on leads or business opportunities through the directory.

  • Service Interruption: Home Fixers is not liable for service interruptions due to maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Content Liability: Members are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of their content.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Arbitration: Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada.

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

8. Changes to Terms

  • Home Fixers may amend these terms, notifying Members of significant changes via email or dashboard. Continued use of services after changes indicates acceptance.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Data Usage: Home Fixers will handle Member data per its Privacy Policy. By joining, Members consent to this data use.

  • Data Security: Reasonable measures are taken to protect Member data; however, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
